We are excited to introduce our newly joined research fellow, Miss Afrin Sultana, selected for the prestigious SAIST Youth Research Fellowship Programme 2024! 🌟

Miss Afrin has an impressive academic background, having completed her Bachelor's degree with a double major in Environmental Science and Environmental Management. She has specialized in understanding and mitigating environmental challenges. Her undergraduate thesis on noise pollution, utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS), provided groundbreaking analysis and mapping.

Her passion for the environment extends to her research interests, which include environmental monitoring, policy development, and sustainable management practices. She is particularly focused on the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities and ecosystems, aiming to make a significant difference.

Beyond her professional achievements, Afrin is an avid reader, gardener, and lifelong learner. She continuously seeks to inspire and educate others about the critical importance of environmental conservation. By blending her hobbies with her professional interests, she aims to positively impact our planetary health.
